Mia Moretti

DJ, music producer, and songwriter Mia Moretti has captivated audiences from nightlife to fashion, leaving an indelible mark on the industry. Starting her career playing vinyl records on Los Angeles' legendary Sunset Strip, Moretti developed a keen sonic curiosity. After moving to New York's Lower East Side, she found herself at the forefront of a DJ revolution, in which her career trajectory quickly propelled. Called upon by the fashion industry, she composed runway shows and soundscapes for up-and-coming New York designers drawn to her bold choices and compelling storytelling. Her impeccable tastes and exceptional curation led her to perform at exclusive events within the halls of the Louvre and secure residencies along the illustrious Las Vegas strip. However, her musical explorations extend far beyond the confines of popular destinations, as she constantly seeks out unchartered territories.

At the core of Moretti's artistic journey lies her personal vinyl collection, lovingly amassed over the span of two decades, which serves as the driving force behind her production. This is evident in her self-released debut dance EP "Tambor" and recent singles "Sweet Juju" and "You & Me". The project, which samples Colombian Bullerengue legends Toto La Momposina and Petrona Martinez, has since been remixed by KILIMANJARO, DJ Minx, Malone, Pauza, Gio Lucca and Cut Chemist, landing on Spotify, Apple, and Deezer editorial playlists and garnering widespread support from the international DJ community. This spring, Moretti released the official remix of  “I Need Some Money,” by South African singer and producer Chicco’s 1986 hit, “I Need Some Money", eliciting high praise from Chicco himself. Moretti's production style is marked by her innovative sample usage balanced with the signature energy of classic house and rhythms of tech house. The result is a rich and timeless sonic tapestry that bridges the gap between nostalgia and futurism.

Since launching her artist project just last year, Moretti has played some of the most reputable venues (Factory Town, Gospel, Hearsay, KOKO, DC10, Pacha), festivals (Coachella, Miami Music Week, Primavera Barcelona), and parties (Solid Grooves, Saga, Tek Support) around the world.
